     Lubuntu is a fast, lightweight and energy-saving variant of Ubuntu using the LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop
Environment) desktop. It is intended to have low-resource system requirements and is designed primarily for
netbooks, mobile devices and older PCs.System Requirements:




The minimum memory requirement for running lubuntu 10.04 is 128 MB of memory. Note that some of your
system's memory may be unavailable due to being used by the graphics card.

To use the graphical installer from the live-cd, you need at least 160 MB of memory.

Systems with less memory need to perform a minimal installation .
